Two new sub-1m VSAT antennas on the SAILOR XTR platform

We are delighted to announce the launch of our two new sub-1m Ku-band antennas; the SAILOR 800 XTR Ku and the SAILOR 600 XTR Ku. The SAILOR XTR antenna platform integrates the pioneering features and benefits of the well-proven SAILOR VSAT antenna technology into the new platform developed in-house by our expert R&D team.

The new SAILOR XTR platform unifies innovative software, new powerful control electronics and mechanics that together unlock capabilities to optimize every aspect of VSAT antenna operation and management. SAILOR XTR is a true future-proof VSAT antenna platform, with integral readiness for operation and easy conversion to different frequencies and networks on geo-stationary satellites (GSO), and forthcoming non-geosynchronous satellite constellations (NGSO).

The SAILOR XTR antenna platform is at the heart of all new SAILOR XTR antenna systems and the power behind unique capabilities that maximize network performance and optimize customer service.

The SAILOR XTR is designed to help service providers simplify hybrid and remote connectivity with the introduction of the industry first Ethernet port inside every SAILOR XTR above-deck unit enhancing the user experience with seamless integration of third-party devices such as cellular devices or Wi-Fi access points. SAILOR XTR ASCM routes data from these devices securely at 1 Gbps, to an Ethernet port on the new SAILOR XTR Below Deck Unit via the single coax cable.

Building on innovations made with our previous generation SAILOR VSAT, the SAILOR XTR antenna systems enable the fastest and easiest rollout on customer vessels or fleets. Rapid Deployment Technology delivers hassle-free installation and the single coax cable as standard simplifies things further. Saving even more time and costs, critical commissioning functions are software controlled and do not require mechanical intervention saving time and reducing costs.
